What are concerns?
"Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do." -Pope John XXIII
Everybody has concerns, whether they're big or small that take our toll on us. They may be small but they manifest themselves into something big that sits on our mind.
I have concerns: deadlines, Living through university, being away from my family, money and getting things done in general. Concerns are a way to prove that we are human and that we can push through the troubles and worries. Without concerns you have nothing to improve and you've peeked. You cannot go any farther. Have concerns, have worries, just don't make them your priorities. By bringing them forward in your brain you're overwhelming yourself, let them be there just don't let them blind you.
Since coming to University my most important concern is living through it. Do I have enough money? Have I done this? Have I done that? Should i go out tonight? If I eat that will it kill me? These are the thoughts I have that have emerged from my uni stress- because i'm pretty sure they weren't there when I was at home and my mum cooked.
This is no doubt one I will have for the rest of my life, my mum and dad won't be there to check, feed me or give me money when I finally move out for good. But.. The others are ones I can get over such as deadlines and living away from my family and friends. Okay, so the friends and family are not that much of an issue as I call them a lot as well as using Skype [Android family].
DEADLINES! So. Deadlines. They are a large part that take up my brains occupancy; I always plan to have the work in or ready, at the earliest a week early. But it never turns out that way... it ends up being not long before the deadline.
So this Semester I also plan to do that but, have my work done by spring break so I have time to spend with my family rather than working like I did last semester for the Christmas period.
