Word of the Week- Connect

Definition: verb. to bring together or into contact so that a real or notional link is established. or to associate or relate (something) in some respect.

Connecting with the people around you. It may not be in person but it can be virtually on social media. We as Humans need communication to survive nobody can live without talking to others. We are naturally outgoing people.

Social Media connects the world by a few taps of the keyboard. we may never see the person we are talking to face to face but we can talk and get to know somebody as if we have known them forever. We use chat rooms and apps to connect with strangers.

We connect with anything possible we connect to improve and to enrich our lives. As social beings we cannot help it, we use communicating and connecting for positives and negatives. Such as using social connections to get further in industries, and to put down others such as bullying.

Connecting to others is human instinct. We have friends, family, pets and even people we don't like. We connect with everyone. It may not be a positive, you may even consider it insignificant but a simple nod or thank you as you walk through a door someone is holding.
